Saint Mary’s School Hymn
Lyrics
by Sagada American Missionaries
[Most probably the Sisters of St. Mary's Convent prior to 1941]
Sung to the tune of Londonderry Aire or Danny Boy
Amid untold beauties of highest
hills
And gardens work of loving hearts and hands
Upon the mountains high in mystic glory
Upon the rocky slopes Saint Mary's stands
Words cannot tell what loveliness surrounds her
Of sunny paths and winding woodland ways
What guiding beauty in our lives we found her
As we have spent in her so many happy days
Saint Mary's School thy name we'll
ever cherish
As time goes by and closest friends must part
Our thoughts and dreams of thee will never perish
But live forever in each loving heart
Live in each heart, yes as a lasting treasure,
Saint Mary's School thy name we'll ever raise
To thee this song sincere in every measure
Saint Mary's School, Saint Mary's School
Thy name we praise!
