Sponsor a Student Funding Assistance Committee

Task:  To help generate funding for SMS scholars / student grantees.

Committee Membership Qualification: On a meeting on March 26, 2005, the above members proposed that a committee member must sponsor at least one scholar or grantee. The rationale being that a committee member who is a scholarship or grantee sponsor  can be a  more effective funding originator than one who is not.  Any questions regarding this requirement may be directed to the committee Chair.

Of course one can sponsor a scholar or grantee without becoming a committee member.

This is an excellent committee to become a member of. One can not help but be energized with the dynamism of the chairperson and the enthusiasm of its  members.
